Description intellectualgeek 2012-12-17 18:18:19 UTC
The folderview widget does not remember its position and size! After every restart, it automatically resizes itself, and is positioned in the top left.

Before restart: http://i.imgur.com/9QhsY.jpg
After restart: http://i.imgur.com/3AsBb.jpg

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a FolderView widget to the desktop
2. Resize it and position it somewhere on the screen
3. Restart
Actual Results:
FolderView was in a different position and in a different size

Expected Results:
Folderview should have retained its size and position

* My desktop layout is set to "Default Desktop"
* I have enabled "Lock widgets" to see if that helps. It doesn't.
* kded4 --version returns
   Qt: 4.8.3
   KDE Development Platform: 4.9.3
* I have not modified any source or config files.

Correction: It positions itself randomly every time, but the size is the same.
