Description Edward 2012-12-16 19:21:48 UTC
Touchpads are often too sensitive and adjusting existing speed settings is insufficient, so creating a startup script with something like:
xinput set-prop 'SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad' 'Device Accel Constant Deceleration' 8
is necessary. However, most users won't know how to do this, let alone find that it is even an option. This parameter should be available in the Touchpad system settings panel.

Reproducible: Always
