Description Andrei ILIE 2012-12-16 12:10:17 UTC
Unlike with regular files, when you add a photo symlink into an album, digikam must be restarted for you to see the album updated.

Reproducible: Always

Pressing F5 to refresh does not work?
Comment 2 Andrei ILIE 2012-12-18 22:49:51 UTC
Don't know, but that's not the point... Should be transparent to the user, just like when you add normal image files into albums. It should "just work" :)
Comment 3 Marcel Wiesweg 2012-12-22 16:40:37 UTC
I'm trying to localize the source of the problem.

With digiKam 5.0.0, this problem is not reproducible.
I close this file now. Don't hesitate to re-open if necessary.
