Description Simple 2012-12-04 13:51:17 UTC
In systemsettings the fixed width font is set to "Monospace 9" and when i run kompare i see its not using kde configured font, instead it uses "Monospace 10".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Already described
Actual Results:
Already described

Expected Results:
Kompare should be able to use KDE fonts and not its own.
Comment 1 Christoph Feck 2012-12-04 14:20:27 UTC
You can configure the font in Appearance settings.
Comment 2 Simple 2012-12-04 20:16:05 UTC
I know, thats exactly the point, but it should follow kde default fixed width font.
Comment 3 Anne-Marie Mahfouf 2012-12-05 11:44:09 UTC
I can't reproduce, what font doesn't Kompare honour from SystemSettings? It honours General here for example so please be more precise and post a screenshot of Kompare in fromt of SystemSettings config tab
Comment 4 Simple 2012-12-05 13:10:48 UTC
I was precise enough and i cant see why would it be needed a screenshot.

In your case i think that kde default is 'Monospace 10' and thats the font that is set in kompare...

Why dont you try erasing ~/.kde/share/config/komparerc, change fixed width font in systemsettings and then start kompare, then youll see that kompare will continue using 'Monospace 10'.
