Created attachment 75545 [details] Screenshot of ktorrent with top showing memory consumption Using version 4.2.1-1 on Debian unstable 64-bit. Please refer screen grab of top & ktorrent at http://i.imgur.com/W3G2B.png (also attached to this report). ~10GB memory in use by ktorrent after about 1 day uptime - torrents shown are representative of previous 24 hours activity. Configuration changes made to ktorrent are minimal (ie. no whacky massive bumping of connection #'s etc). On a restart of ktorrent, process reports usage of 623M / 69M for virt & resident memory respectively.
I have a similar problem with ktorrent 4.3.1 on my Gentoo box. Looking at htop periodically, ktorrent will use more and more memory over time. Currently, at about five days uptime, it is using 1 GB of RAM. After a restart, ktorrent will use 33 MB of RAM, but it'll gradually rise over time again.

Confirm this bug with ktorrent 4.3.1 (Gentoo Linux, amd64). After 1 day uptime ktorrent use 1.5 Gb RAM (it upload about 130 Gb and download 7 Gb). After restart it usage 1277M VIRT and 233M RES. What additional info is needing?
Definitely leaks memory. Version 4.3.1 (KDE 4.13.3) on Kubuntu 14.04.
