-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed: I am an extreme "nubie" so I'll do mu best:  I'm running Umbutu 12.10 32-bit on an HP Pavilion dv7-3162nr laptop & using KMyMoney 4.6.3.  Both were downloaded from their "parent" websites and installed as instructed.
Had imported my accounts from Quicken;
Was editing names of duplicated accounts;
1st crash after 3 or 4 edits;
2nd crash upon 2nd edit;
Closed KMyMoney & restarted computer;
Reopened KMyMoney - crashed on 2d edit;
Closed KMyMoney; Reopened KMyMoney - froze after the blue title rectangle appeared.
Shut down computer & waited several minutes.
Restarted computer & reopened KMyMoney.
Program opened & seemed to freeze on a blank screen - KMyMoney started after several seconds.
Again crashed when I attempted to edit an account.
Thus this crash report.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

This seems to very similar to https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-16292 although that should be fixed in Qt 4.7.4. Nevertheless the crash is not in KMyMoney code (the last call in KMymoney is at #67) so I'm marking it as upstream since there is not much we can do. Did you try using other KDE applications that have trees, like kpackagekit? Do they work without crashing?

kmymoney (4.6.1) on KDE Platform 4.8.5 (4.8.5) using Qt 4.8.1

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Selecting account, changed the type of the account and clicked on the tab "Hierachie". Then is crashed.

NOTE!!
I reproduced the error again but then i preformed the actins seperated.
1) chaged account type. clicked on Ok
2) opend the account type again and clicked on the tab "Hierachie"

Then NO CRASH!

en : I published an account that I can not delete, and going into the 3rd tab, the application crashes.

fr : J'ai édité un compte que je n'arrive pas à supprimer, et en allant dans le 3eme onglet, l'application plante.
