Description Victor Porton 2012-11-28 15:45:52 UTC
When I click "Check Spelling" in the right-click popup menu of a k-note, nothing happens.

I guess I should install an additional package but have no idea which package.

I should fail more elaborately.

Reproducible: Always

spell check work in other apps ? example kmail ?
Comment 2 Victor Porton 2012-11-28 18:52:42 UTC
Spell checking works in Kate.

When I start KMail, I see it produces the following message at the center of the window:

The Akonadi personal information management service is not operational.

I will also file a KMail bug.

I haven't reported the KMail bug because I have KMail 1 but KDE bugs site accepts only KMail 2.
