The Activity Switcher opens and shows all Activities (though some Activities which originally had a different name are now called "New Activity"). I can select an Activity, but tapping it sends me back to an Activity called "New Activity" with no background. There is only one Activity I can switch to. After a few failed attempts at switching, the Switcher shows a graphical glitch (not refreshing correctly when I turn the wheel). On the next attempt, plasma-device restarts. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Pull out the Activity Switcher 2. Select an Activity 3. Tap it 4. Repeat Actual Results: You arrive at a "New Activity" without a background image Expected Results: Selected Activity is loaded
After I updated my system and deleted my .kde folder, the following happened: After the reboot, the Introduction Activity was open, but the Activity Switcher only showed Activities named "Main". Then kactivitymanagerd crashed (sadly no useful backtrace and debug packages could not be found by DrKonqi) and now I'm in an empty, background-less Activity called "New Activity", and the Switcher only shows one Activity called "Main". In other words, things are completely broken right now in Activity-Land
this should probably not be valid anymore, activity creation and switching should be fine (needs more testing), but there can still be issues due to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=313035 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=313036
It looks fine to me here as well. Created and deleted Activities, rebooted, everything is still working fine, so I'll mark this bug as fixed.
