Description Edward Diehl 2012-11-27 19:45:28 UTC
This is a feature request rather than bug. kmid is a great program it would be great if it could be updated to include jack midi support (suggest keeping alsa midi support, and adding jack as an configurable option). Related to this would be nice to remove the "MIDI Player connection" error popup when kmid cannot find Timidity. I use kmid to play via linuxsampler or pianoteq via jack midi and aj2midid (which creates jack midi ports for alsa midi devices) and I get this popup whenever I hit play which is annoying. At a minimum you could add a checkbox to disable this popup. Thanks for a great application.

Reproducible: Always
