Description J Appel 2012-11-23 18:04:15 UTC
When typing with a non-french keyboard and trying to start writing in a new cell with accent grave (SHIFT+accent acute on a german keyboard) or accent circonflex (SHIFT+key), nothing is entered into the cells

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. get a non-french (german) keyboard
2. click on an empty cell, click only once so that no cursor blinks inside the cell
3. try to write être (accent circonflex + e = SHIFT+key + e) or à (SHIFT+accent acute + e)
Actual Results:
Nothing is written into the cell

Expected Results:
The behaviour of all other characters is to write them into the cell when a key is pressed.

Appears to be related to the SHIFT-Key. Words starting with accent acute (no shift needed here) are entered as expected.
Comment 1 J Appel 2012-11-23 18:09:06 UTC
au contrair to the last sentence, accent acute is also affected
