Which Plasma NM version do you use? You can see the version string in "Manage Connections" -> "Other". Also which NetworkManager and ModemManager versions do you use? Does your sim card has PIN enabled?

This can also be a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=279649

0.9.0.5 nm09 20120930

Also which NetworkManager and ModemManager

NetworkManager-0.9.6.4-3.fc17.x86_64
ModemManager-0.6.0.0-1.fc17.x86_64

> versions do you use? Does your sim card has PIN enabled?

yes.

My last try involves the use of sakis3G-0.2.0e, but after the sakis just say the connection is established only skype works, the ping to any host resturns no connection (no route to DNS), no browser, no thunderbird connections worked.

Cheers, Arm

Is this still happening? Can you try installing debug symbols packages so we can get a more usefull crashlog? Well, I do not know the name of the symbol package for Plasma NM in Fedora though :-/
