Description Thomas Pfeiffer 2012-11-22 14:56:58 UTC
When closing windows in Task switcher or sliding the thumbnails left or right, the switcher is not repainted correctly and soon traces of previous images overlap each other.
See attached screenshot

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an application
2. Pull down the task switcher
3. Close an application
OR
4. Slide the thumbnails around
Actual Results:
Task Switcher is not correctly repainted

Expected Results:
No repainting issues

I have the same issue with Plasma Active 3 on Nexus 7.

Fixed, see thread "Rendering problems in kwin and active" on the active@kde.org list.

Please reopen if the problem resurfaces.

Jfyi, I filed a submit request for a patch to solve this issue for the current trunk testing of Plasma Active on MeeGo cobs: https://build.pub.meego.com/request/show/7761

If this can be tracked back (again) to the Qt patches Nemo carries to adjust what the default QDeclarativeView (iirc it was that class) does, that patch should simply be removed as it creates a non-standard Qt.
