Description Marcus Harrison 2012-11-20 09:27:50 UTC
When KMail is running, if one adds a none-mail-related Akonadi resource, the display of KMail's folder list is corrupted. Restarting KMail resolves the issue. No other features (filters, special folder settings) are affected.

Reproducible: Sometimes

What do you add as resources ?
Do you create folder outside kmail ?
Comment 3 Marcus Harrison 2012-11-21 10:21:29 UTC
It varies: I created an AkoNotes resource to generate the above output, though I have experienced the same thing adding DAV groupware resources and traditional .ical resources.

I have not changed the E-mail resources, or the folders, in any way, nor have I added new folders to the E-mail resources.

Comment 5 Bernd Oliver Sünderhauf 2012-11-25 02:33:02 UTC
Marked Bug #310625 a duplicate of this, thereby confirming the bug.
The two issues are almost certainly the same, even though the other one is about /deleting/ a folder in kmails folder list.
Comment 6 Achim Bohnet 2013-04-13 12:48:58 UTC
Still the case in 4.10.2 with kmail2 after adding DAV 'owncloud' resource via kaddressbooks.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 10 Denis Kurz 2017-01-07 22:20:37 UTC
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
