Mini-DLNA (forked-daapd) requires a revision number to be sent as a parameter in the update requests. Some players, like Amarok and Banshee, don't send this number. This causes forked-daapd to send an error to the players (reported at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/forked-daapd/+bug/921119) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have a Mini-DLNA (forked-DAAP) server running; Enable all modules 2. Wait for share to become visible 3. Nothing happens Actual Results: Share is not visible in Amarok; songs on server are not accessible Expected Results: Share visible; songs selectable
Moving to wishlist as this is not implemented yet.
This was actually also fixed along with https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=498654 by commit https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/amarok/-/commit/7946fe150c8cd1a643b9c5e5d3b8f0f6ae33c6be and should work since 3.2.2 I believe. Closing.
