When I try to create a new bookmark the window closes without any error message, but the bookmark does never show up in the list. Older bookmarks that are already in there still work. Creating new folders does work, but new bookmarks in them also silently fails. I'm running marble 1.4.1 on KDE SC 4.9.3. Reproducible: Always
Thanks for the bug report. Seems to be a problem of the KDE version (both master and the KDE/4.9 fail to add bookmarks in the KDE version, the Qt one works fine for both).
