Description julien.t43+kde 2012-11-08 17:21:15 UTC
When doing some actions (importing, exporting, maintenance, ...), it would be nice to have some kind of automatic check/rules which warn user about potential problem.
For example, when doing an export, I want Meta title or description filled, that information template is not empty or empty, for most online service, I want a maximum resolution (attention to resizing done in export dialog), ...
When doing an import, I could check that some meta exists and are not empty (or opposite, are empty)

The user would be notify for the whole lot and ask if want to continue or not. After, he can check the log to fix those problem manually.

Reproducible: Always

Another possibility would be when importing from facebook as facebook removes all meta, you can user if (but could be useful for other services too):
- want to set date picture, title, description when importing an album
- if importing "photos of me", tag it or face it
- if possible, backup album name, album author, picture or album url automatically
- eventually retrieve online metadata as seen in Bug 272451 - Synchronization with online albums (PicasaWeb, Flickr)
