Description Laurent Bonnaud 2012-11-07 14:44:56 UTC
My .xsession-errors file is flooded by messages that come from konsole each time I select text in a konsole.

Those messages look like this:

konsole(5896)/kurifilter (plugins) KAutoWebSearch::filterUri: "/"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start a konsole
2. select text in this konsole
3. look at ~/.xsession-errors or at the terminal where you started konsole

Actual Results:
many (probably useless) messages are displayed

Expected Results:
no message at all, except when there is an error

This is with KDE 4.9.3 and konsole 2.9.3 in Kubuntu 12.10.
(the bug reporting web interface did not offer 2.9.3 as a version)

Before the situation is improved (or decided not to), use the following workaround:

    run "kdebugdialog", search for "kuri", then uncheck all items.

Thank you for the hint! It fixed my problem. I now think that this is not a bug at all. Therefore if you also think that this is not a bug, please close this report.
