(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kdesktop Version: KDE 2.2.0 Severity: normal Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: kernel version 2.4.8 since upgrading to KDE2.2 i can no longer "arrange" my desktop icons to my liking.......if i drag an icon to where i would like it - it jumps right back to its original location as soon as i let go of it......Despite right clicking on the desktop and trying all options offered to arrange my icons - they end up right where they started... previously (in version 2.12 ???) i could drag an icon wherever i wanted and it would STAY PUT..... this new behavior is reminiscent of Microfost and their Windblows systems....... all i really want is the ability to drag an icon to any place on the desktop and have it STAY PUT.. thanks!!!
