This was tried with Okular, but should affect every program that prints. When printing using Okular, and increasing the copies from 1 to 5, and adjusting the margins of the printer page, the first copy will print with the adjusted margins, while the subsequent four copies will print with the printer driver default margins. This is using an HP Deskjet d4200 series printer and driver that otherwise works perfectly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1a. Using Okular to print a PDF in landscape orientation, I chose to increase the left margin from 0.25in to 0.50in and then set the right margin to 0.0. 1b. Okular -> File -> Print... -> Properties button -> Page tab 1c. Change left margin to 0.50in and the right margin to 0.0. Click OK. 2a. Back in the main print dialog box, I set the copies to 5. 2b. Options button -> Copies -> change 1 to 5. 3. Click Print button. Actual Results: First page has the modified margins, while the subsequent four pages has the printer driver default margins. Expected Results: All pages within the print run should have the margins that were specified. Kubuntu 12.10 KDE 4.9.2 cups 1.6.1-0ubuntu11
Sorry print-manager is not the print dialog, it just manage your printers and jobs not the print dialog which comes from Qt, please report the bug there.
Actually there is a print-dialog component in kdelibs
I'm sorry, I don't understand what to do next based on what you mentioned. Should I refile this somewhere else? If so, which area?
Daniel already reassigned the bug, so you don't need to do anything else (except maybe praying that we find a developer who is willing to resurrect KDE printing).
