Thanks for the bug report! Looks like a duplicate of bug 306459 (fixed in KDE 4.9.3) to me. I don't quite understand though why this should happen after opening a new tab. It should only happen if a new DolphinView is created while some other window (not Dolphin's main window) has the focus.
Thanks. Will check it out. Part of the problem may be I'm living in China and may be incursions by interfering hackers who only have a partial grasp of the English or the misnamed Internet Bureau who are tightening 'supervision' in a general way as crucial CPC Congress approaches. Even with firewall on. ________________________________ From:Frank Reininghaus <frank78ac@googlemail.com> To:pfodea@yahoo.com Sent: Friday, October 26, 2012 6:48 PM Subject: [Bug 309022] Dolphin crash opening new tab for desktop in home https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=309022 --- Comment #1 from Frank Reininghaus <frank78ac@googlemail.com> --- Thanks for the bug report! Please reopen if you still get this crash in KDE 4.9.3 or later. Thanks!
