Description Giacomo Alzetta 2012-10-25 20:32:59 UTC
Whenever I tried to use Quickbuild the file does not compile and an error message is written in the log window: "[Kile] Unknown tool ."

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a Latex file
2. Click on Quickbuild
Actual Results:
No pdf is shown. And an error message can be seen in the log window:

[Kile] Unknown tool .

Expected Results:
The pdf gets compiled and shown by okular.

I've installed KDE on windows and kile and okular with it.
Whenever I try to use the "Quickbuild" button kile does not do anything and outputs in the log window: "[Kile] Unknown tool ."

I've tried doing a "system check" and I found out that it does not see "okular"(which is considered critical). Also it does not show pdflatex(even though it is not "critical").

If I do the PDFLaTeX and ViewPDF commands separately all works well.

Also I have absolutely no problem in using okular alone, or compiling with pdflatex from the command prompt.

There are some other strange behaviours. For example when changing the settings I often see an error like:
[Kile] Unkown tool LivePreviewPDFLaTeX
