Description Pascal d'Hermilly 2012-10-23 13:27:12 UTC
When mouse hovering over page number in left bottom corner (from here: page-corner) you can click and go to specified page.
1) Make sure page zoom is high(e.g. 150%):
2) create a 2 page document;
3) go to page one and click in the page-corner and write 2 and enter.
4) It jumps to the bottom of page 2 instead of the beginning of page two.

Reproducible: Always

would you expect it to always land at the top left of the page ?

And what if you currently was in a header, would you be surprised by being taken to the main text on said page?
Comment 2 Pascal d'Hermilly 2015-01-26 11:06:29 UTC
I expect to be able to see the top left of the page.
I'd expect it to only be about navigation, not whether my cursor is in the header or in main text.
Comment 3 Camilla Boemann 2015-01-26 11:27:26 UTC
so you don't want the curosor positon to change - only what you see ?
Comment 4 Pascal d'Hermilly 2015-01-27 09:40:11 UTC
I don't see why the cursor position should change.
Just like it doesn't change if you scroll to next page with your mouse.
Comment 5 Camilla Boemann 2015-01-27 09:49:27 UTC
well because that is how LO and MS Word does it

but for sure not having to move the cursor makes it so much easier
