Description georgeccoffey 2012-10-21 17:48:58 UTC
If I am building a playlist, and Amarok is stopped, if I add a track to the playlist, it will start playing it immediatly.

This is very frustrating, because I have to stop the track, which will effect the track's stats like playcount. Also it can list podcasts as no longer new, since I had to stop them, or at least skip to an open track.

This happens when the tracks are paused as well, so if I pause amarok and want to add some more songs to the playlist without loosing my place it is not possible.

If you pause a track, you cannot add tracks without loosing your place in the paused track, or playing it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Amarok
2. Clear the playlist
3. Select a Podcast Episode an click "add to playlist"
4. Amarok will start playing the track immediatly.
(I don't belive it should, but this is less of a problem then when pausing)
5. Pause Amarok
6. Add another podcast episode or track.
Actual Results:
The new track starts playing immediatly. I would now have to go back, select the first podcast, then find the place I had it paused, as the bookmark is not left.

This behavior makes building playlists impossible unless a track is being played. If I am listning to audio from another source, such as watching a movie, I cannot use amarok at the same time, since it will constantsly be resuiming the playlist, interrupting the other audio.

Expected Results:
Amarok should not start playing the new track, it should add it to the playlist but not start playing it.
