FYI, language selection works well here for KMyMoney on Windows (Ukrainian, Win 7). Did you install l10n-kde4-it package? Have you tried to switch language to Italian using Help -> Switch Application Language... ? Thanks in advance for your answers.

You've referred to a screenshot a couple of times, but I don't see it on the bug entry. Does this need to be referred to the translation team? I see a 'Missing translation flag' which is not checked. Should it be?
It seems that "Switch Application Language" on Windows works for system locales only. I have installed Italian language pack but could not switch on it (Windows XP SP3, en + MUI). The only things switched are welcome screen and the list of languages. As a workaround, one can replace mo-files in C:\Program Files\KDE\share\locale\<working locale>\LC_MESSAGES with the files from C:\Program Files\KDE\share\locale\<needed locale>\LC_MESSAGES

I have no words to thank you. Your workaround work perfectly and, finally I've got my Kmynoney in italian. If, in the future you will come in Rome, I will be pleased to have a beer with you. have a nice day. fausto
