For example, when registering and a field is left empty 
'{attribute} cannot be blank.'
comes from the ./framework/messages/*/yii.php

Not sure what we should do here, instruct people to contribute upstream? Extract those messages as part of our regular .po extraction? Something else?

There is also ./framework/web/js/source/jui/js/jquery-ui-i18n.min.js for the date picker
