I have LinuxMInt 13 with KDE 4.8.5. The problem is: when I connect a projector to the laptop the image of the projector works only during one minute (exactly). After that the configuration came back to default: only the laptop's screen is activated, and I have to connect manually the projector again. It doesn't matter if I have activated only the projector or the projector and the laptop's screen at the same time. And it doesn't matter either if I am using the battery or the power wire. After some tries, I realized that if I disable the energy saving options (Preferencias de ahorro de enegía, en español), then the projector's behavior was normal. So, I think that something woks wrong with the energy saving processes because they change the display configuration to default when they are enable.
