Description Haochen Xie 2012-10-12 04:56:43 UTC
Mail reader of Kmail doesn't follow link to an anchor in a HTML mail, which should be support, and that did work in my Gmail web UI.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an HTML mail contains links to anchors
2. Tell Kmail render the mail as HTML
3. Try to follow an anchor within mail
Actual Results:
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:
It supposed to jump to the proper anchor.

Here is an example of mail contained html snipping:

<a href="#anchor">Click Here!</a><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br>
</div><div><br>
</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>

<br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

Works fine in 4.9.2
Reopen if it doesn't work with 4.9.2
(and attach an example mail)
Comment 2 Haochen Xie 2012-10-12 06:18:45 UTC
It's good to know that that was solved in a higher version. I will try 4.9
later. Thank you!
