Description Gerald B. 2012-10-11 21:43:34 UTC
Version 2.9.2 (not available in version list box)

Regardless of the group configuration, kget always creates the directory ~/Downloads upon starting kget. I am forced to manually delete that directory after kget shuts down.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start kget

Actual Results:
Directory ~/Downloads is created

Expected Results:
No directory is created, other than those specified in the download group settings.

Please check if changing the Download location in "System Settings > Account > Paths" helps.

Maybe share the same cause with bug 304123
