To reproduce: Go to https://duckduckgo.com. Enter something in the search box. Click on one of the results. Nothing happens. Turning off Javascript through Tools / HTML Settings before clicking causes the click to work, so looks like a Javascript problem.
"me too" (can confirm this has been a problem for several months) Using the WebKit view is another "workaround".
Should also mention using middle-click to open in a new tab works.
I asked here: http://duck.co/topic/clicking-on-the-results-does-nt-open-links-in-konqueror-khtml and there are two more workarrounds https://duckduckgo.com/&kd=-1 http://ddg.gg/html/
This is now working for me, but I doubt it has been fixed on konqueror (I'm still using KDE 4.8.4) I rather think that any change was done on duck duck go. I also used to use the suggested workaround (sucessfully). In summary, it works for me now without workaround. Regards,
I'm using the version 4.8.5 and it works for me too, now. So they have changed something upstream, specialy for konqueror The only thing that it does nt work yet, is the dropdown menu button just beside the search button. The other dropdown menu button with the label "Plus", works fine.
I confirm it's OK now with 4.10.2. As the reporter, I'll close the ticket unless anyone objects. I agree the dropdown menu button doesn't work, but that's not the subject of this ticket, and I see the problem has been reported to DDG.
