Marble 1.3.0 is the latest version for Max OS X. I've tried to get Marble 1.3.0 to run on OS X 10.6.8 but when I try to open the app I get the following message: "Marble cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Marble works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X." Looking into it I'm pretty sure that this is caused by Qt4.8. Would some one please try compile a new version of 1.3.0 with either a newer version of Qt4.8 or use the previous Qt 4.7? Please see the forum discussion for more detail on this issue: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=217&t=107866 Thank you Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download the official OS X version from the official download page http://developer.kde.org/~tackat/marble/Marble-1.3.0.dmg 2. Try to run the app [ on a mac running 10.6 Snow Leopard ] 3. You won't be able to Actual Results: You get the following message: "Marble cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Marble works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X." Expected Results: The app should run
Still not working. I have Mac OS X 10.6.8 I tried the "Marble 1.5.0 (OS X 64bit)", I don't even get an error when launching from the Terminal, like if it doesn't even starts: myComputer:~ jlgrall$ open /Applications/Marble.app myComputer:~ jlgrall$ Mac OS only shows a warning telling that Marble has exited in an unexpected way, and allowing me to send a report to Apple or to try to restart Marble. (translated, because it is in French on my computer) Is there any test I can try ? Is it possible to use an older working version ?

Even though I am one of the reporters and still use Mac OS X 10.6.8, I doubt that that version of Mac OS is still a target for builds. You can close/dismiss this ticket. Thx.
Thanks for the update!
