Hi, I'm using Dolphin in the GNOME environment (Ubuntu 12.04). When I either double-click or right-click any single file (or set of files) to view the file with GEdit (Version 3.4.1), that file or files will open in Gedit but an extra blank tab in Gedit is also opened. Even though there's no text in that tab, it is marked "modified" so I can't just quickly close it without first needing to confirm that I don't want to save that file. This doesn't occur in Gedit when opening files from Nautilus file manager, via "gedit" command prompts, or any other tool that I know of. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start dolphin 2. Go to any .txt or .java file (or any other ASCII file) 3. Double-click it to view it in GEdit Actual Results: You'll see the file you clicked in one tab (good) and an extra blank tab (bad). Expected Results: Just shown the desired file or files in GEdit, without the blank tab pointing to an empty file.
