Description Johann-Nikolaus Andreae 2012-09-30 15:33:40 UTC
curred the X-KADDRESSBOOK-X-IMAddress, X-ICQ, ... property is used to strore instant messaging contacts.
This is not supported by any other cliend.
Please use the IMPP property. See RFC 4770.

Reproducible: Always

Hi,

This bug shoud be reported against kdepimlibs afaik, reassigning it.

Cheers,
Grégory

First we need to make sure the kabc library can support IMPP property, which it currently does not afaict.

Then we need KAddressbook to use this new property instead of X-KADDRESSBOOK-X-IMAddress property.

reassigning to kabc then.

This may become obsolete when Bug 337759 (Support vcard 4 - RFC 6350) gets fixed.
Comment 4 Denis Kurz 2016-09-24 20:56:04 UTC
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kdepim (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Comment 5 Johann-Nikolaus Andreae 2016-09-25 04:53:25 UTC
This is still valid for version 5.3.0

Thanks for the feedback.
