Description lornerj 2012-09-30 04:10:31 UTC
My installation of gpg4win is not working properly for signing emails or files. Encryption works normally but when trying to sign a file the passphrase is not asked in the final step either for email or for files. If I select encrypt and sign, the passphrase is asked.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Myriam Schweingruber 2012-10-03 09:23:44 UTC
And which exact KDE version is this about?
Comment 2 lornerj 2012-10-03 17:50:03 UTC
KLEOPATRA VERSION 2.1.0
KDE VERSION 4.1.4
OUTLOOK 2007
VISTA w/all updates

Thanks for your help.

Comment 3 Myriam Schweingruber 2012-10-03 23:13:37 UTC
Are you sure you didn't make a typo there? KDE 4.1.4 is completely outdated, we are about to release 4.9.2
Comment 4 lornerj 2012-10-04 05:54:45 UTC
Actually it's correct.  It was loaded with the GPU4WIN 2.1.1-34299beta and when I select "about KDE" I get 4.1.4 and when I select "about Kleopatra" I get 2.1.0.  I loaded the beta because I was having the same problem with GPU4WIN 2.1.0.

Then I strongly suggest you report this to gpg4win, as they use completely outdated software. See also http://www.gpg4win.org/community.html
Comment 6 lornerj 2012-10-04 16:43:58 UTC
