(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kppp
Version: unknown (using KDE 2.2.0 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.1.93
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-96)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.3-12
OS/Compiler notes:

I Thank you very much for improving KPPP to such level that my internet access from KDE+Linux is very pleasant.

I humbly request for the following features in Kppp:

1. Kppp should prompt "Disconnect Internet Connection..." dialog when all windows of Konqueror (or any web browser) is closed.

2. Please have a configuration option to set KPPP to sustain Dialup Connection for a specified no. of time. (I wish to browse 1 hour but I forget when I surf if kppp could assist me to disconnect after 1 hour that would save my money I spend on surfing the net).

3. The Wizard Dialog is incomplete I just can't have my ISP info there. I live in Hyderabad India. I could help you if you need ISP info to improve the Wizard for Regin India. I would like you to ask for help at http://dot.kde.org/ for this Wizard improvement for different countries and cities. And I am sure most users will help you.

Thank you for your great work.

This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kppp

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
