Hi I'm new and I'm not a coder but I like statistic and so maybe I could help. At your website there is a link to http://www.daisydiskapp.com/ and there you can see the radialMap and on the right an overview about the folder and subfolders. When you look at Dolphin you also have on the right side the information panel, maybe it would be possible to integrate in filelight this information panel. maybe when you tell me how and where I can integrate the information panel, I can fill the panel with dir and file statistics. you can also remove the status bar when you fill the information into the panel. when I can help, please let me know. best regards Andreas Reproducible: Always
Please clarify: Do you want the panel to be the same as in Dolphin (i.e. displaying meta information, tags, and ratings), or as in the Mac app (displaying overview of directory contents).
I would say like in the Mac app. % of file type (10% .jpg, 90% .pdf) 10 biggest files, 10 newest files 10 oldest files
Thanks for the update.
if anyone wants to do this they could probably just borrow some code from Krusader, they have a fork of Filelight embedded with a list and stuff.
