Description Wojciech Ryrych 2012-09-24 09:37:01 UTC
After upgrading from OpenSuse 12.1 to 12.2 I have problems with Konsole. I tried to to re-install it, purge all KDE cache and remove konsole data and configuration in .kde4/ dir but it didn't help.

One of the problems is that there is a gap between the typed text and the cursor:

There're also problems with selecting text:

And with rendering output too, though now I couldn't find a better example

The problems are very annoying and working in konsole is hard.

Reproducible: Always

This doesn't look like a monospaced font. Please try choosing a different font using the font selector in Profile Settings. It is possible, that you have specified a font that no longer exists, and Konsole falls back to a replacement font.

You are right. I changed the font and now it's OK. Thank you very much!
