1 step I forgot to mention is an empty dialog box with ok and cancel appears, I click ok. This is repeatable every time.

Here's a written summary - if the kwallet system is disabled, the gtalk edit account dialog has no widgets for some reason, closing that crashes accounts kcm. Enabling kwallet back and running the "Edit Account" action again asks for kwallet password first and then shows the editing dialog properly, no crashing afterwards.

I'm able to reproduce thanks to this guide. 

Diff is in review, and should be merged within the next few hours, and will be released soon.

And to note that im using kde telepathy 0.5.1, so its clear this bug is not fixed, it crashes when clicking in the OK button when the small window of the kde module control appears.

I still can't reproduce this.

Can you get us the output of running "kcmshell4 ktp_accounts"

Adding relevant comment from duplicate bug 309163 by Christoph Feck:

"Probably caused by nested event loop (see #35 in backtrace)."

Looking at the code, I can see how this would have happened in 0.5.1.
If the user clicks apply before the Kwallet opened, it will crash. 

However, the patch:

"Don't show EditAccountDialog until KWallet is opened"
Commit: 9d39b891aca118267dc9593d2baca8eb34b789fb

which is on the 0.5  branch (but not in 0.5.1) , seems like it would fix this

I'll add an additional guard around this happening, (see reviewboard), but I think this is (re-) fixed. 

To any one who experienced this - please please test and report back as we can't reproduce it here.
