Description Frieder Ferlemann 2012-09-22 12:39:22 UTC
It would be nice if ksnapshot offered a snapshot mode where a screenshot of the previous selection (be it window/rectangular region/area within a window/...) would be taken.

Ideally (from my point of view) ksnapshot would (on press on the PrintScreen button) snapshot the complete screen (as it does right now) _and_ the previously selected area simultaneously.

Then it would display both of these snapshots next to each other, one of them smaller/unselected (the one which the save/copy/send to buttons would not work on).
If the user decides to operate on one of them (save/copy/send), then the one that was chosen would be the selected one for the next screenshot as well.

Some usage scenarios / work-flows would be significantly easier.

Thanks for ksnapshot!

Reproducible: Always
