Say, i have an archive with this structure:
[mykde]
    [packages]
        ...
    [scripts]
        ...
And i want to extract [scripts] folder. I select that folder and click 'Extract'. If 'Preserve paths when extracting' is checked, Ark will extract [scripts] folder inside [mykde] folder. If that option is unchecked, Ark will extract all the files from [scripts] folder and its subfolders right in the root folder.

Please make an option to be able to extract just [scripts] folder in the root folder. And i am suggesting to make this behavior as default - afaik so do the majority of GUI archivers.
