Description programmer 2012-09-12 06:08:42 UTC
When I go to edit an existing Scheduled Transaction Category that is a split transaction, it does not allow me to modify the amount. It jumps to the category field and then tries to create new categories that are a single character long.

When creating a new split transaction - the first line works as expected. The second lines fails as above.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose Scheduled transactions
2. Edit a transaction that has a category of "Split transactions"
3. right click on an entry and choose edit
4. Click on the field amount and try and modify it.
5 The focus should jump to the Category field and will erase what is there.
Actual Results:
I reselected the correct Category and then tried

Expected Results:
The ability to modify split transactions.

This has worked in the past, I don't know why it is not working now.

Same here for normal split transactions in the ledger with build Version 4.6.90-138a862976 (build date Aug 19th).

OK. I went back to a prior image and then reinstalled KMyMoney and it is now working correctly. I wonder if another program in my system corrupted the program. I will reinstall other software and see if the bug reappears.

Hi!

Did you succeed in installing all other software without breaking kmyoney? I wonder what I made wrong while compiling from git - because I can reproduce your problem here.

Regards,
Martin

I have Acronis True Image and reverted to a prior image and then re-installed the program that I am using. I don't know if I had something install that broke kmyoney or not. It's currently working as I would expect.
