Description Maximillium 2012-09-08 07:43:04 UTC
kfind doesn't find anything, doesn't really seem to search. Even when I give it a file name and location that I know exists, kfind does nothing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open kfind
2. give it a file name and even a general location (directory) to search
3. Flashes "searcing" then immediately settles on "idle"
Actual Results:
No results - doesn't find known file in known location

Expected Results:
Isn't this one a bit obvious?
Comment 1 Christoph Feck 2012-09-08 17:01:16 UTC
It works here. Do you specify the full file name, or only a part? Remember that kfind performs pattern matching, so to find a file named "test1", you cannot enter "test", but you must enter "test*".
Comment 2 Maximillium 2012-09-09 06:56:48 UTC
Yup. Tried with & without asterisks, even tried searching from the same directory
the target file was in. Doesn't see it.
