Description Franz Trischberger 2012-09-07 09:18:48 UTC
"Archiv" becomes "Archv"
"inziwinzi" becomes "nzwnz"
But only small "i"s - big "I" work, so "Info" stays "Info".

Downstream report:

Reproducible: Always

work fine here...
Comment 2 Franz Trischberger 2012-09-10 05:46:12 UTC
I tested this on 2 PCs with 4 different accounts:
web.de and googlemail (2 accounts) remove the "i". But I could not reproduce this with an udmedia.de-account.

I can confirm this with GMail. In KMail, I've created a folder called "aiiiiiiiii". It appears on the server under the name "a" (according to the GMail web interface), and it doesn't appear in KMail. In Akonadiconsole in the collection table, its remoteid is "ia", should probably be "/aiiiiiiiii".
So I guess this bug is about any missing "i" behind the "a", bug 305269 is about "/" being replaced with "i" before the "a".

The fix for bug 305269 should have fixed this, too. When dealing with toplevel folders, some parts of the IMAP code thought that "i" was the folder separator instead of "/". IMAP supports different folder separators and that part was not correctly implemented.
