print preview and exported PDFs showed gray placeholders where some of my images should have been. I spent upwards of 40 minutes trying to figure out what I did wrong because I thought this was some kind of operator error on my part, rather than a bug. After double checking pretty much everything on the interface for things I might have been doing wrong that would make that happen, I tried instead replacing the images with down-rezzed versions of themselves, and with nothing else different, it worked fine that way. So, clearly this is a bug. The bug only seems to trigger for very high resolution images. In this case, it was 10 Megapixel digital photographs. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Import a very large JPEG such as a 10MP photo 2.Run print preview or export a pdf 3.Oh Crap!!! Why won't it show up!? Actual Results: Displayed a grey placeholder rectangle where the photo should have been. Expected Results: The photograph should have shown up the way it does in the editing view Running on Ubuntu Quantal Beta
downgrading as there is no loss of data, and actually we have had this bug before. I'll have to look at that fix and see if something has broken again or if the fix was not good enough
