The tooltips in my Plasma panel won't use the fancy effect but the fallback one instead. The task manager preview effect won't enable and shows the fallback effect instead in my Plasma panel. Tried with Icon task,  the Quick access plasmoid, Trashcan plasmoid, Show desktop plasmoid, etc. I tried to create an empty plasma panel and try with Smooth Tasks and the problem occurred there too.

Two days ago I updated to KDE 4.9.1 and the effect worked great, so I thought it was fixed, but yesterday and today the problem is back.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in to KDE
2. Hover mouse pointer to any of the plasma panel component
3. the tooltip or task manager preview thumbnail is the same as the one when desktop effects are disabled
Actual Results:  
The tooltip or task manager preview thumbnail that pops is the same as the one when desktop effects are disabled.

Expected Results:  
The tooltip and task manager preview thumbnail should be the fancy one (transparency, etc.)
