Description Keith 2012-09-01 15:08:49 UTC
Application: kcmshell4 ()
KDE Platform Version: 4.8.5 (4.8.5)
Qt Version: 4.8.2
Operating System: Linux 3.5.2-3.fc17.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution (Platform): Fedora RPMs

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
The clock on my desktop panel on Fedora 17 64bit system dd not match the other clock i had on my desktop (tzclock). I tried to change the time through the clocks own settings, i.e, ntp setting "Public Time Server (pool.ntp.org)". It then crashed out with this report, so if this is a duplicate then please write this off as one. If not please take on-board the information as posted.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

kcmshell4 (4.12.4) on KDE Platform 4.12.5 using Qt 4.8.6

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Right click on the clock in the taskbar, selecting "Set date and time", then changing the ntp pool url.
I clicked on "Apply", then "Ok", to finally see the settings app crash after prompted that the ntp remote server could not be accessed.

The crash can always be reproducible.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

none
