- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I open Kontact the first time after boot-up (no crash, never), then I close Kontact (with Button (x)) and when I reopen Kontact it crashs always.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

how do you proceed to reopen Kontact ? krunner ? a tray icon ? something else ?

I reopen Kontact by clicking on the Kontact icon in the kickoff menu
