Description Felix Berger 2012-08-27 14:44:12 UTC
It would be a great productivity improvement if http links could be clicked directly when a keyboard modifier such as ctrl or shift is pressed.

This would obviate the need to open the context menu on the link and move up to the "Open Link" menu item to open an http link in the browser.

Since I do this lots of times a day, this would be a great improvement.

If there are no objection to this feature, I will look into implementing it.

Thanks,
Felix

Reproducible: Always

FYI, the current development code contains one profile option to make links directly clickable. See http://reviewboard.kde.org/r/105282

Before you start hacking, try the latest code and see whether it meets your need.
