Description cmertes 2012-08-24 17:04:35 UTC
When searching a PDF document with "Find" (Ctrl+F) for any word and then changing the PDF file underneath, find won't work after reloading the file (either automatically with inotify or manually).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load PDF
2. Hit Ctrl+F, enter a word that occurs in the document, hit enter
3. Change PDF
4. Reload
5. Hit enter again in the search field or enter new word
Actual Results:
The search yields no results.

Expected Results:
Existing strings should be found and displayed.

Changing PDF files while displaying them is common with pdflatex/lualatex.

Already fixed in Okular 0.15 (ie KDE 4.9) by commit a6f57c965b06be86dcbc01dba8fb3b91c597f669
Thank you for caring about Okular :)
