Description Romek 2012-08-23 08:07:15 UTC
It would be *very* helpful I guess for many developers to have possibility to find and replace multiline strings within project files.
Often when refactoring a method, it could be splitted into several lines and it is impossible to replace all its occurences automatically using Find/Repalce in Files dialog. Instead one must use external tools or use Find/Replace function (limited to current file) or just do manual work.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Regular expressions with \n do not work.

Expected Results:
Regular expressions with \n find within multiple lines.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with KDevelop 25.12.2.
