Description Bruno Friedmann 2012-08-22 19:05:09 UTC
Application: karbon (2.4.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.8.5 (4.8.5) "release 521"
Qt Version: 4.8.2
Operating System: Linux 3.1.10-1.16-desktop x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE 12.1 (x86_64)"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed: I change a big group of object to set opacity to 15 (as its not retain once you close karbon)
Then export the result as pdf overwritting an existing pdf.
hit ctrl s to save the document, ctrl q to quit
Karbon said the document as unsaved items (w00t?) and propose to save it again.
I hit save and get that nice crash.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

-- Backtrace:
Application: Karbon (kdeinit4), signal: Segmentation fault

This seems to be the quite often hit close on save bug due some dbus initialisation order and should be fix in the 2.5 release.
Comment 2 T Zachmann 2012-09-03 14:31:28 UTC
Unfortunately I'm still able to reproduce. It happend when you start any karbon and create a new document and then press Ctrl-Q to quite the application. You get asked to save the file and after it is saved it crashes.

Comment 5 Bruno Friedmann 2020-12-13 07:44:31 UTC
Due to lack of response, Karbon was drop here. So I'm not able to test it 8 years after.
